Villa Hirschen is situated in the holiday resort of Zafferana Etnea that in the past attracted poets, writers, musicians and movie stars.
Zafferana is half way from the sea and Mount Etna, steeped in nature and in all the ancient and authentic Sicilian traditions.

Zafferana Etnea
Zafferana Etnea. A lot of interesting tourist and cultural activities take place in Zafferana Etnea, such as the Brancati Prize, in honour of the famous writer who loved spending his holidays here. Verga, Capuana and De Roberto also sojourned in Zafferana. It is also important to mention the special event called "Ottobrata", a trade fair of typical Sicilian products.
It also takes the form of important displays and theatrical and musical performances.
